Saint Leo University Assistant Athletic Director, Vicki Fredrickson graduated from Saint Leo University with her Bachelors in Business Administration in 1999 and with her MBA also from Saint Leo University in May of 2004.  She graduated from the 2006 National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators NACWAA/HERS Institute for Administrative Advancement in June 2006.

She has been a member of the Saint Leo Department of Athletics staff for eight years, and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director in 2005.  Fredrickson works as Saint Leo’s direct liaison with the NCAA regarding issues of compliance and implements policy and procedures to comply with NCAA legislation.  She is also responsible for each of the major events the department hosts such as the annual Girls & Women in Sports, Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and two annual golf tournaments.

She is a member of NAAC (The National Association of Athletics Compliance) since 2001 and is a committee member on The NCAA Eligibility Center Advisory group representing the Sunshine State Conference.  She is the Host Site Coordinator for the newly developed NCAA Women’s Leadership Symposium which will be held in Tampa in May of 2010.

Fredrickson earned her Graduate Certification in Sports Management from the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) offered through The United States Sports Academy in 2007 and completed training in the Saint Leo Leadership class which is a year-long class created by President Arthur F Kirk to enhance management and leadership skills in hand-picked candidates.
