Rob Hamada was named an Assistant Coach during the 2013-14 season. Bringing a vast amount of experience to the Lions' team, Hamada works primarily with the Lions' outfield and hitting, as well as assisting with recruiting and daily team practices.
Hamada received his Bachelor's Degree in 1997 from Concordia University, where he spent seven season as an assistant coach. Serving as the pitching coach and outfield coach, Hamada also worked as a recruiting and travel coordinator. In addition, he served as the strength and conditioning coach.
During his coaching career, Hamada was also the head coach for the Thunder / Bolts Select Development softball team, where he worked with all aspects of the team. He earned his ACE personal training certification in 2005, and has worked with professional, college, and high school athletes, as well as senior citizens in exercise rehab.
Hamada earned his Master's Degree in Special Education from Oakland University in 2005. He currently resides in San Antonio, Fla.
