SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University has announced that the 2012 Leadership Saint Leo for Student-Athletes graduation will be held on Sunday, March 25 at TECO Hall in the Donald R. Tapia School of Business Building.
Leadership Saint Leo for Student-Athletes emulates the Leadership program that Saint Leo University President Dr. Arthur F. Kirk, Jr. instituted on campus for staff and administrators at all levels. This version is an academic year-long program designed to develop sophomores into leaders for their coaches in their sport. Student-athletes selected to the program studied the Five Exemplary Traits of Leadership, hosted guest speakers to discuss Saint Leo University’s Six Core Values and will use the community engagement funds won from the Sunshine State Conference to fund a community engagement event.
The graduation ceremony will get underway at 5 p.m. and is open to the public. Graduates will meet with Dr. Kirk at 4 p.m.
